MACY KLEIN ELDREDGE

Attorney at Law

A Collin County native, Macy Klein Eldredge grew up in Plano and attended Prestonwood Christian Academy. From there, Macy followed in her grandfather and parents’ footsteps to Texas A&M University, where she received her B.A. in both International Studies and English and minored in Spanish. Macy completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Malaga in Malaga, Spain. Macy went on to gain a Graduate Certification in Nonprofit Management from the Bush School of Government and Public Service, with an emphasis in Philanthropy and Fundraising.

After graduating, Macy moved to Abilene, Texas, where she worked in marketing and large-scale event management. In Abilene, she served as the VP of Programs for the Abilene A&M Club. Macy then moved to Germany for three years, and served as the President of the Kaiserslautern Military Community A&M Club. While overseas, Macy completed her Masters in International Relations.

Macy moved back to the United States to attend the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas. While at Bowen, Macy clerked for the Chief Judge of the Arkansas Court of Appeals and a civil law firm. She also gained experience as an Attorney Ad Litem in a Child Protective Services clinical course. Macy is a published member of the Arkansas Journal of Social Change and Public Service, and graduated with the Bowen School of Law Dean’s Certificate of Public Service.

During her final year of law school, Macy was a Rule XV Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, serving Perry and Pulaski counties, as well as a Rule XV Attorney in the Consumer Protection Clinic. Macy gained invaluable experience defending indigent clients in felony criminal cases ranging from Possession of a Controlled Substance to Murder.

After graduating, Macy joined the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted misdemeanor cases, eventually becoming the Misdemeanor Chief of County Court at Law Number Seven and Chief of the Collin County Justice of the Peace Courts. As a defense attorney at Collin County Law Group, Macy handles misdemeanor, felony, and federal cases across multiple counties in Texas. Macy also practices Family Law and Juvenile Law and works tirelessly to attain the best possible outcome no matter the circumstances.
